Group via the Group By dialog box

Select Group from the View menu in the View group of the Home ribbon tab to open the Group By dialog box.

Select a column property in the Group items by box and click Apply to group the crudes according to their value for this property. Selecting the appropriate option button allows you to choose ascending or descending sort order for the identified groups. Note that you can only select to group by columns which have already been configured. To configure a new column. See Configure your database views.

You can configure the appearance of the group headers. Select the Show field name and Show item count check boxes to show the name of the field and the number of items in the group, respectively.

You can choose up to three further subgrouping categories in the Then by boxes. Each subsequently chosen subgroup will appear within the primary grouping category.
