Generating the blend or BlendAnalysis

The amount of data which needs entering depends on whether you are performing a Blend, or a BlendAnalysis. The Blending page of a Document is used to configure the assays used for both Blend and BlendAnalysis.

To Blend assays you need to:

• choose the assays for blending

• enter the ratio of the assays to each other

• choose the blending ratios

• choose blending by weight or by volume.

To use BlendAnalysis you need to:

• choose the assays which are blended

• enter assay measurements for either the whole blend, or a fraction of it

• enter any constraints on the amount of a particular assay in the blend, including weightings in favour of particular assays

• choose blending by weight or by volume.

After entering all the necessary information for Blend or BlendAnalysis, to generate the results:

• Clicki the Generate button in the Assay group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Press the F5 key.
