If you have included a flowsheet with a workup document, and have entered distillation data for the flowsheet streams in the Measurements grid fractionation parameters are calculated using the data entered. The results of this fitting are displayed on the Distillation graph. After you save the assay, you can view the Distillation graph by selecting the assay in the database. See Flowsheet based streams in the measurement grid.

The X axis of the graph displays the cumulative percentage yield for each product stream. You can remove a stream from the graph by clearing the corresponding check box in the graph legend, in the bottom right corner of the graph window.
Also shown is the yield profile for the input feed. This may be whole crude to the atmospheric distillation unit, or the feed stream for other distillation units, for example the atmospheric residue distillation profile for the feed to a vacuum distillation unit.
The Y axis of the graph shows the boiling points of the selected product streams.
If more than one distillation unit is configured on the Flowsheet page, use the Distillation Unit drop-down menu to select which distillation unit is shown on the distillation graph. The distillation graph can only display results from a single distillation unit.

Show and hide distillation data
The distillation graph toolbar has several options for showing and hiding data on the graph:
-
: Displays the synthesised cumulative yield curve for the crude.
-
: Displays the synthesised cumulative yield curves for each of the products.
-
: Displays the distillation measurements converted to TBP.
-
: Displays the effective cut points between the product streams.
