Managing the list of assays

You may add items to the Blend Crude List, edit items in the list and remove items from the list in a number of ways:

• Right click on the crude list, to bring up the context menu, containing the Add, Edit and Remove options.

• Add a Blend Item by double clicking in the white space below the current list of crudes in the blend.

• Press the Add, Edit and Remove buttons at the bottom of the crude list

• copy and paste crudes from the Database View as long as the assay reference is included as a column in the current visible View.

When selecting to add a crude to the Blend List the Select Crudes dialog opens allowing you to select which assays to add to the blend. See Select crudes.

Tip

Right-click the list header and select Configure View to change the information displayed for each assay; it is possible to display crude properties such as density, along with reference information. When the Blend is added to the Database the custom display of the Blend List is saved alongside the blend components.
