It is possible to move the h-bars, which represent measurements on cuts, in three ways:

  • By editing the value in the main grid, or

  • By dragging the h-bars graphically, or

  • By editing the value in the graph information dialog.

After you have moved the h-bars, press F5 to regenerate the assay using the updated measurement values.

To drag the h-bars graphically, you can select editing mode in the graph by either:

  • Pressing the Icon select graph item in editing mode. Also used for Graph Point Editing Mode. Shows two symbols of H bars and move arrows button on the graph toolbar.

  • Right-clicking the h-bar on the graph and selecting Edit Measurement from the context menu.

After clicking Icon select graph item in editing mode. Also used for Graph Point Editing Mode. Shows two symbols of H bars and move arrows and entering Editing Mode when you bring the cursor close to an h-bar on the graph the cursor changes to a double-arrowed cursor, Icon Move H=bar. Shows up and down arrows with two horizontal lines in the middle of the icon with a gap between, which allows you to drag the h-bar to the new desired vertical position in the current axis range of the graph.

After right-clicking and selecting Edit Measurement the cursor becomes a double-arrowed cursor, Icon Move H=bar. Shows up and down arrows with two horizontal lines in the middle of the icon with a gap between, which also allows you to drag the h-bar to the desired vertical position.

To edit the h-bar values numerically, ensure that the graph information dialog is present by clicking the Icon Graph Information. Shows a spreadsheet button on the graph toolbar.

You can edit h-bar values by entering new values into the corresponding cells.

Dialog Property Profile Information.

The precisions of the measurements represented by h-bars are shown by vertical bars on the h-bars. The precision is determined by the Precision formula entered when configuring the test methods of the corresponding property in the Property Manager See Specify Test Methods in Add a new property.

Note: that if the precision is sufficiently small, the vertical bars will be hidden within the size of the h-bar.
