Cross hairs

It is possible to graphically determine both the instantaneous values of any property distribution for any crude, and the property value for a distillation fraction of the crude, correctly evaluated according to the relevant blending methods and indices. The feature in the graph module which allows this is called cross hairs. It allows the two distinct modes of functionality:

• Tracing the Property Profiles shown in the Profile Graph Module, and

• Instant Recutting to give the property value for any fraction of the crude.

You can toggle on and off the cross hairs in one of the following ways:

• Clicking the button on the Graph toolbar.

• Pressing Ctrl+H.

• Right-clicking on the graph area and choosing Cross Hairs from the context menu.

The two modes of behaviour are shown split vertically in the Cross Hairs dialog.
