Copy data in the Results grid

You can copy cells and records in the Results grid, and then paste to other locations.

These record types allow record copying:

• Downtime

• Energy

• Maintenance

• Process Quality

• Material Quality

• Production

• Planning

• Lot

• Lot Group

• Movement

  Note The Add Record permission is required to use this feature.

To copy an entire record

• Right-click a record and click Copy. You can paste the contents into another record or into third-party software, such as Excel or Notepad.

  Not all views will allow this, and the pasteable fields must have the PasteInGrid property enabled in the project configuration.

  

To copy selected cells

1. Hold the Alt key and select multiple cells. A box appears around selected cells.

   

2. Right-click, and click Copy. You can paste the contents into other cells or into third-party software, such as Excel or Notepad.

   Not all views will allow this, and the pasteable fields must have the PasteInGrid property enabled in the project configuration. Some cells will not allow contents to be pasted on top of them.

   Note If you copy multiple cells where some of the cells disallow pasting, you will not be able to paste into the Results grid. However, you can still paste to an external application.
