Install virus scanner

We recommend virus scanning the Server and Database server, with the exception of the following exclude directories.

Exclude directories on Server

• AVEVA Production Management home folder

  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Citect

• MS SQL Server for AVEVA Production Management Project Database

  C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data

Exclude directories on Data Repository

• All data repository files for AVEVA Production Management

It depends on the MS SQL server data file management settings. The data files used by AVEVA Production Management data repository must be in the exception list.

In some cases, the AVEVA Production Management data repository may be split across multiple files located in multiple partitions.
