These properties appear in the Destination category of a Movement.

Definition > Destination properties

Property

Description

Valid values

DestinationEquipment

This property is enabled if the MovementDirection property is Input or Internal. It specifies the equipment to which the material moves.

Click Browse (...) to open the selection dialog box, and then choose the destination equipment that you require.

Any relevant equipment

DestinationEquipmentWithChildren

This property specifies whether the children of the destination equipment can be included in the material movement item. This property is not relevant for automatic movements.

True, False

DestinationLotContributorSet

This property is enabled if any contribution types are added to the Contributor Set item under Inventory configuration. It specifies the assignments of contributor values for each contribution type.

Click Browse (...) to open the association dialog box, and then assign the source and and then set up the rules for assigning contributor values for each contribution type. By default all contribution types assign the value of the source lot to the destination lot.

It is possible to override this behavior by:

  • Allocating a specific value to the destination lot for a given contribution type for all source lot values. Select a value in the Destination Contributor Value column for the row with the Source Contributor Value with the value Default.

  • Allocating a specific value to the destination lot for a given contribution type for a specific source lot value. Use the Add Source Contributor Value button. You can change the assigned destination value by selecting a value in the Destination Contributor Value column for the row with the Source Contributor Value with the given source value.

In the screen above:

  • Movements that have source lots with an Owner contributor value of JV1 assign the destination lot an Owner contributor value of JV4.

  • Movements that have source lots with an Owner contributor value of JV2 assign the destination lot an Owner contributor value of JV2 (the source lot value).

  • Movements that have source lots with an Owner contributor value of anything other than JV1 or JV assign the destination lot an Owner contributor value of JV1.

  • Movements that have source lots with an Supplier contributor value of anything assign the destination lot a Supplier contributor value of SP2.

  • Movements that have source lots with an GeoType contributor value of anything assign the destination lot a GeoType contributor value of GT2.

  • Movements that have source lots with an Pit contributor value of anything assign the destination lot a Pit contributor value of Pit1.

  • Movements that have source lots with an Grade contributor value of anything assign the destination lot a Grade contributor value of Grade3.

Defined contributors

DestinationLotGenerator

This property is enabled if the DestinationLotIdentifierCreationMethod property is LotGenerator. It specifies which lot generator AVEVA™ Production Management uses create the identifier for the destination lot.

Click Browse (...) to open the Selection dialog box, and then choose the lot generator that you require.

A lot generator is an expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.

<lot generator>

DestinationLotGroupExpression

This property is enabled if the DestinationEquipment property references an equipment with LIFO, FIFO, Selective, or WeightedAverage lot behavior.

It specifies the expression that defines how AVEVA™ Production Management generates the destination lot group.

Click Browse (...) to open the Expression Editor, and then build the expression.

This is an historical expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.

Any valid expression

DestinationLotIdentifierCreationMethod

This property specifies the method of creating the lot identifier for the destination lot, as:

  • None (the lot does not have an identifier)

  • UseSourceLotIdentifier (the lot uses the identifier of the source lot)

  • Expression (the lot uses the identifier that results from an expression that you build), or

  • LotGenerator (the lot uses the identifier that results from a lot generator that you select).

None, UseSourceLotIdentifier, Expression, LotGenerator

DestinationLotIdentifierExpression

This property is enabled if the DestinationLotIdentifierCreationMethod property is Expression.

It specifies the expression that defines how AVEVA™ Production Management generates the destination lot identifier.

Click Browse (...) to open the Expression Editor, and then build the expression.

Lot identifiers are strings, so the expression results in a string sample.

This is an historical expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.

Any valid expression

DestinationMaterialsExpression

This property specifies the expression for the material to move to the destination. The expression can include one or more materials but should result in one material.

Click Browse (...) to open the Expression editor, and enter an expression for the material to move to the destination.

Any valid expression

DestinationQuantityExpression

This property is enabled if the MovementDirection property is Input or Internal, and the DestinationQuantityMode property is Expression.

It specifies the expression that defines how AVEVA™ Production Management retrieves the destination quantity.

Click Browse (...) to open the Expression Editor, and then build the expression.

The expression results in a single sample. This is a historical expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.

When the DestinationQuantityMode is set to Expression, the DestinationQuantityExpression property provides a destination quantity value for the movement. If the DestinationQuantityMode property is not Expression, then this property is disabled.

Any valid C# mathematics or logic operation

DestinationQuantityMode

This property specifies how the material movement item gets a quantity value.

If this property is set to Expression, you can build an expression for retrieving the destination quantity.

If this property is set to Conversion, you can select a material conversion for retrieving the destination quantity.

If this property is set to UseSourceQuantity, then the source quantity is used.

Expression, Conversion, UseSourceQuantity

DestinationMaterialClassExpression

The expression that defines how AVEVA™ Production Management defines the destination material class for this movement. If a material class is not required, leave this property blank.

Otherwise, click Browse (...) to open the Expression Editor, and then build the expression. The expression must result in a defined material class.

This is an historical expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.

Any valid expression
