There are three types of quality data in AVEVA™ Production Management that perform different functions.

Process Quality |
Process Quality captures key process-related data into a single repository, so that you can measure and compare quality data against set targets and specifications. |

Material Quality |
Material Quality collects material quality data to assist in the determination of calculated quantities of inventory. The Material Quality concept is about linking quality attributes to specific lots of material. |

Calculated Quality |
Calculated Quality takes source data from a Material Quality reporting point, typically associated with the same equipment as the Calculated Quality reporting point, and performs a calculation on the combined data contents. |
