Test the OPC DA data connection

After you add and configure an OPC DA data connection, you can test the connection.

Prerequisite

Verify that the OPC DA server is running and online.

To test an OPC DA data connection

1. In the Project Explorer, right-click the data connection.

2. Click Test Connection. A message appears about the result of the test. If the test does not succeed, reconfigure the connection properties and try again.
