Add and configure a Lot Group reporting point

You can add a Lot Group reporting point to a Site folder, Area folder, work center, or work unit.
To add a Lot Group reporting point

In Studio, right-click a Site folder, Area folder, work center, or work unit and point to Add Item, then Reporting Points, then select Lot. A new Lot Group reporting point appears.

Give the reporting point a meaningful name.

Configure Lot Group reporting point properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Lot Group reporting point properties.
Important: A Lot Group reporting point has a standard field called LotGroup that appears by default under the Fields folder . When a Lot reporting point contains a capture condition, configure the HistoricalFieldExpression property for the Lot Group field.
