Copy and paste details of a Movement event

You can copy the details of a specific Movement event and paste the contents into a new event if the required details are the same.

Note The Add Record permission is required to use this feature.

Excluded fields

When copying records, these fields are excluded:

• CreatedDateTime

• ModifiedBy

• ModifiedDate

• MovementType

• Movement Direction

• FinalizedPendingChanges

To copy and paste details of a Movement event

Note Only the fields where the Paste in Grid property is True will be pasted

1. In the Results grid, select the event that you want to copy.

2. Right-click and click Copy, or press CTRL+C.

   

3. Select the recipient record, right-click and click Paste or press CTRL + V.

   The details for the original Movement event are copied across to the selected record.

   Tip: You can paste the contents into third-party software, such as Excel or Notepad.

Selective copy and paste

You can do a selective copy paste where you choose which fields in a row to copy.

To perform a selective copy paste

4. Alt-click the fields within a single row.

5. Right-click and click Copy, or press CTRL+C.

6. Select the recipient record, right-click and click Paste or press CTRL + V.

Note If you select a non-pastable field, the paste option will be disabled.
