Sample configuration: Part 1 - Configure an Operator Log

In this sample configuration, an Operator Log is configured as a way to capture operator knowledge and observations of a shift.
This requires the use of the Knowledge module. You add a Knowledge reporting point and the fields under that reporting point.
Create a Knowledge reporting point

Create a Knowledge reporting point. Rename this reporting point Operator Log.

Remove default fields from the Details form
There are some default Standard fields that display on the form, unless they are removed. Under the Knowledge configuration item, change the properties for the following fields: Priority, Topic, Memo, Sketch.

Add Shift Details fields to the Knowledge reporting point

Add three fields to the Knowledge reporting point: Crew, Operator Name, and Shift.

Add Information and Issues fields to the Knowledge reporting point

Add three fields to the Knowledge reporting point: Area 1, Area 2, and Area 3.

Add Safety fields to the Knowledge reporting point

Add five fields to the Knowledge reporting point: PassScore, Safety Issues and Incidents, Completed Maintenance Tasks, Outstanding Issues, and Link to Photo.

Add Inspection fields to the Knowledge reporting point

Add six fields to the Knowledge reporting point: DateTime - Line 1, Operator - Line 1, Status - Line 1, Date Time - Line 2, Operator - Line 2, and Status - Line 2.

View the Operator Log in Production Analyst

Save and start the project.

Open Production Analyst.

Select the Knowledge module and click Insert a manual sample. The Operator Log appears as the details form.
