Add a new Material Quality event with Event editor

You can add a new Material Quality event with the Event editor.

A Material Quality event contains material quality data—usually specific quality attributes—to assist in the determination of calculated quantities of inventory. The Material Quality concept is about linking quality attributes to specific lots of material.

To add a new Material Quality event

1. On the Event editor, click the arrow next to Add Event.

2. Select Material Quality from the drop-down menu. The Select a Reporting Point dialog box appears.

   

3. Select the relevant Material Quality reporting point, and click OK.

4. On the Event editor, enter the details of the new Material Quality event.

   Sample Period	The date and time of the material quality record.
   Sample Identifier	Specify the unique identifier to match with the identifier of a movement record.
   Quality Event Type	Displays the Quality Event Type, such as Calculated Quality or Material Quality.
   Location	The location in the plant hierarchy for this record.
   Lot	The unique lot identifier number.
   Material	The material of the material quality record.
   Comment	Enter some comments about this change. Your comments are saved with the material quality record.

5. Select Save.
