Delete an item

There are several methods for deleting items from the project.

Important: Use care when deleting items from your project.

A Studio item in your project hierarchy executes a particular function. For example, an item can be a field, a reporting point, or a data source. It has its own properties and can be individually stopped or started.

Delete an item

• Click the item you want to delete and on the Edit menu, select Delete.

• Right-click the item you want to delete and select Delete.

• Select the item and press Delete.

  You are prompted to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete, or No to cancel the deletion.
