About Downtime standard fields

You can configure Downtime standard fields in the System Configuration folder under the Downtime configuration item. The standard fields that appear under the Downtime configuration item are common throughout the module.

There are eight standard fields for Downtime that display under the reporting point Fields folder. These are: Event, Effect, Cause Location, Cause, Classification, Explanation, Comments, Location Identifier. Although these are standard fields, they appear under each reporting point because they are likely to be customized for each individual reporting point. When you modify the properties of these standard fields, the properties are unique to the associated reporting point.
