AVEVA™ Production Management

Add and configure personnel

  • Last UpdatedMar 25, 2025
  • 2 minute read

You can add personnel folders only to the main Personnel node in the root node of the project. AVEVA™ Production Management locates personnel items in one folder to make it easier for you to organize and maintain.

Use personnel folders to organize materials

You can use personnel folders to separate personnel items into logical groups.

Note: A personnel folder is for logical grouping and convenience. It does not perform the function of a personnel class.

Add a personnel folder

  1. In Project Explorer, right-click Personnel, and click Add Personnel Folder. A new Personnel folder appears.

  2. Rename the folder with a meaningful name, such as the area of the plant where the person works.

Add a personnel

A personnel item defines a person. You can add as many personnel items as you like to a personnel folder.

  1. Right-click a Personnel and click Add Personnel. A new Personnel item appears.

  2. Rename the personnel item to the name of the person.

  3. Repeat as many times as required.

  4. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Personnel properties.
