Add a Lot Group custom field

A Lot Group field enables you to define additional attributes for a Lot Group.

At the reporting point level, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields.

Important: A Lot Group reporting point has a standard field called LotGroup that appears by default under the Fields folder . When a Lot reporting point contains a capture condition, configure the HistoricalFieldExpression property for the Lot Group field.

To add a Lot Group custom field

1. In Studio, right-click a Lot Group reporting point and select Add Field. A new Lot Group field definition appears.

   

2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the field properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Lot Group custom field properties.
