The state of a Downtime record can change either automatically, manually, or both. In some cases, the project is configured to automatically change the state of a Downtime record, depending on the workflow that is designed for your process.
You can change the cycle or stage for a piece of equipment in AVEVA Production Management.
Examples of Downtime states:
-
Available
-
Active
-
Closed
To change the current state of a Downtime record manually
-
In the Results grid, right-click the Downtime record, point to Change State, and select the required state; for example Active or Pending.
The available states depend on the specific configuration for your site.

Note When configured, AVEVA Production Management can record Downtime events on cycle or stage changes or when the expected duration of a stage is exceeded.
