Update Production Analyst WCF service port with AmplaUtil

You have the option to change the Production Analyst WCF service port during the AVEVA Production Management installation. If you want to change the port number after installation, use the AmplaUtil command.

To update the Production Analyst WCF service port number

1. On your computer, click Start, and in the Run box, type cmd.exe to start the command prompt.

2. Navigate to the AVEVA Production Management installation directory. For example: C:\Program Files\AVEVA\AVEVA Production Management.

3. Type the following command to modify the default port number for the PA WCF service:

   amplautil /paWcfPort:<PORT NUMBER>

   The port number in the configuration files is updated with the newly specified port number.

4. Restart the Ampla service for the change to take effect.
