Phase 3: Test environment

The purpose of the test environment is to recreate the production environment and test the upgrade process to be certain that the upgrade goes smoothly. Duplicate the production environment as closely as is possible.
Subject the upgraded project to a certain test period in the test environment to verify that the upgrade meets the required level of performance. The test environment can include a second computer to use as a client computer.
