Add and configure a CLR Stored Procedure Host connection

A CLR Stored Procedure item in Studio project enables you to create a CLR Stored Procedure connection and set default values. Each Stored Procedure Host is versioned. For current version information, see CLR Stored Procedure.

Guidelines

You can add one or more CLR Stored Procedure connections to the System Configuration folder. For more information, see Modify the default CLR Stored Procedure parameters.

To add a Stored Procedure Host

  1. Right-click the System Configuration folder, point to Add Item, point to Configuration, then click Stored Procedure Host [version]. A new Stored Procedure Host appears.

  2. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Stored Procedure Host properties.

  3. Install the CLR Stored Procedure.
