It is now possible to perform Finalization without doing a full reprocess first. This simplifies the finalization process and allows finalization to occur after Reprocess Pending Changes is done. If after reprocessing Pending Changes, there are some negative or debt lots, or if the project is configured with Match Movements to Plan matching criteria, a choice is given to go ahead with finalization or cancel it.
The Reprocess Pending Changes action will perform a partial reprocess from the point of earliest change.

It is not possible to perform finalization after pending changes through either Production Analyst or Web services if earliest change is before the finalization point.

It is not possible to perform finalization after pending changes if Match Movements to Plan (MM2P) is enabled, unless the FinalizeWithMovementMatchingCriteriaIgnored parameter is set to True. Without the FinalizeWithMovementMatchingCriteriaIgnored parameter, data that has MM2P configured will require a full reprocess before finalization.
For more information, see Reprocessing data from earliest change.
