A Knowledge capture condition defines the condition that occurs to initiate a data capture.
With Knowledge capture conditions, you can use expressions and triggers to specify when AVEVA™ Production Management is to create a Knowledge record. Also, an operator can manually add and edit Knowledge records.
For more information about how Knowledge works, see About Knowledge.
Guidelines
You can add multiple capture conditions to a Knowledge reporting point, and AVEVA™ Production Management creates a new Knowledge record when any capture condition occurs.
To add a Knowledge capture condition
You can add a capture condition to a reporting point. A capture condition defines when AVEVA™ Production Management is to capture data.

In Studio, right-click the relevant Knowledge reporting point, and then click Add Capture Condition. A new condition appears with the default name ExpressionCaptureCondition.

-
Rename the condition with a meaningful name.
-
Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Knowledge capture condition properties.
