URL parameters

AVEVA Production Management URLs contain additional parameters that enable you to go directly to a specified location within the AVEVA Production Management interface.

Browser Client

http://[ServerName]/Ampla/Client/SE.SPO.Ampla.xbap

Desktop Client

http://[ServerName]/Ampla/Ampla/Client/SE.SPO.Ampla.application

With direct parameters, it is possible to launch AVEVA Production Management with specified starting parameters, including:

• Navigate to any given module.

• Select a given location node within the module, with or without recurse.

• Select a navigation mode within that module.

• Select a view.

• Set filter values (time filters, custom filters).

Enter parameter

• You can type the parameters as an URL directly into the address bar of Internet Explorer.

Note Replace the [ServerName] in URLs with computer name. Do not use localhost.

Example for browser client

http://[ServerName]/Ampla/Client/SE.SPO.Ampla.xbap?module=downtime&location=IronOre.Site 1.Process Plant&viewname=Standard View&SamplePeriod=Current Shift

Example for desktop client

http://[ServerName]/Ampla/Client/SE.SPO.Ampla.application?module=downtime&location=IronOre.Site 1.Process Plant&viewname=Standard View&SamplePeriod=Current Shift
