Display the Balance Over Time view

The Balance Over Time view displays the historical material balances of work centers or work units for a time range that you specify.

The Balance Over Time view displays which material you had for the specified period, the quantity you had for the specified period, and where it was located for the specified period.

• The Results grid shows Inventory records for the selected location in the plant hierarchy. You can specify the grouping of these records.

• The Balance Over Time view accepts work centers and work units for source or destination equipment locations.

• In the Charts pane, you can view a line chart of the balances.

  Important: The Balance Over Time view reports on the last known value for a material even when no new activity occurs within the Sample Period filter.

To view the Material Balance Over Time view

The location that you select and the filters that you apply determine the data that displays in the grid and charts.

1. Switch to the Inventory module.

2. In the Location hierarchy, select the equipment to view the associated Inventory records in the Results grid and the Chart panel.

3. In the View Selection pane, click Balance Over Time.
