AVEVA™ Production Management Windows integrated security uses role-based security, which focuses on defined roles and their associated permissions. A role-based security model provides for more flexible security management.
The AVEVA™ Production Management System Administrator creates users and grants them membership to different defined roles. Each defined role has a set of associated permitted operations.
Finally, different areas of the plant are specified as accessible only to certain roles or users.
