Copy and paste details of a Quality record

You can copy the details of a specific Quality record and paste the contents into a new event, if the required details are the same.

Note: The Add Record permission is required to use this feature.

To copy and paste details of a Quality record

1. In the Results grid, select the record that you want to copy.

2. Right-click and select Copy, or press CTRL+C.

   

3. Select the recipient record, right-click and select Paste or press CTRL + V.

   The details for the original Quality record are copied across to the selected record. Only the fields where the Paste in Grid property is True are pasted.

   Tip: You can paste the contents into third-party software, such as Excel or Notepad.

Selective copy and paste

You can do a selective copy paste where you choose which fields in a row to copy.

To perform a selective copy paste

4. Alt-click the fields within a single row.

5. Right-click and click Copy, or press CTRL+C.

6. Select the recipient record, right-click and select Paste or press CTRL + V.

Note If you select a non-pastable field, the paste option will be disabled.
