Download and install RabbitMQ

Obtain the latest release of RabbitMQ from the RabbitMQ website.

Be aware that if you have ActiveMQ already installed and try to enable protocols that are common to both RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ, there could be port conflicts. For more information, see Ampla™ 7.0 upgrade notes.

If the Windows MSMQ service is running, stop the MSMQ service. After installing and running RabbitMQ, restart the MSMQ service.

Download and install RabbitMQ

Note: The screens in this procedure are for illustrative purposes only. For the correct version of RabbitMQ, refer to System requirements for AVEVA Production Management Server.  

1. Locate the correct version of RabbitMQ and download the install file.

   

2. Double-click the executable file to run the installation. The first wizard screen appears. Click Next.

   

3. Choose the installation folder and click Install.

   

4. Click Finish.
