Add and configure a split condition

You can add a Downtime split condition under the Split Conditions folder of a Downtime reporting point.

To add a split condition

1. In Studio, right-click the relevant Downtime reporting point and select Add 'Split' Condition. A new Split condition item appears.

   

2. Rename the condition with a meaningful name.

3. Configure split condition properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Downtime split condition properties.

Downtime reporting points can be configured so that if another Downtime reporting point is currently recording the same downtime event, data from both points is not seen, since it is a duplication of the same event. Therefore, the data captured by one of the points is hidden or masked.
