About the OPC HDA variables configuration tool

The OPC HDA variables configuration tool is available from the right-click menu of an OPC HDA data source in the Project Explorer.

You can use the OPC HDA variables configuration tool to do the following:

• View variables that are in the project and mapped to variables on the OPC HDA server.

• Import one or more variables from the OPC HDA server into the project.

• Delete one or more variables from the project.

Depending on the filtering that you set in the OPC HDA variables configuration tool, the tool displays a list that includes the following:

• OPC HDA variable items of the OPC HDA Data Source item.

• OPC HDA variables or data points on the OPC HDA server that the OPC HDA connection item identifies.
