Add and configure a Contributor item

A Contributor item defines an allowed value for a Contribution type. An unknown contributor item appears by default.

A Contribution type is a category of source characteristics that define an original trait for a lot. Examples of contribution types are Owner, Supplier, Financer, Geotype.

A Contributor is an individual entity, such as one of the individual Suppliers that belong to the category of Supplier.

To add a Contributor item

1. Right-click the Contribution type item, and click Add Contributor. A new Contributor item appears.

   

2. Rename Contributor item with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Contributor item properties.
