Make a lot balance adjustment

Make a lot balance adjustment using the Event editor.

An adjustment record is the result of an adjustment event after processing has occurred. An adjustment changes the balance of the current quantity of material at an equipment item.

To make a lot balance adjustment

  1. On the Event Editor, click the arrow next to Add Event.

  2. Select Lot Balance Adjustment from the drop-down menu.

  3. Enter the details of the new movement event into the Event Editor.

    Sample Period

    The date and time of the movement event record.

    Record Identifier

    Specify the unique identifier for movements from external systems.

    Adjustment Method

    The adjustment method can be absolute or percentage.

    Absolute - Adjusts by a specific amount, and can be positive or negative.

    Percentage - Adjusts by a percentage of the original value, and can be positive or negative.

    Equipment

    Specify the equipment where the adjustment occurs. This can be a work center or work unit.

    Lot Group

    Specify the lot group that is relevant for the adjustment.

    Lot

    Specify the lot identifier that is relevant for the adjustment.

    Quantity

    Specify the quantity of material to adjust.

    Material

    Select the material of the lot.

    Comments

    Enter some comments about this change. Your comments are saved with the movement event record.

  4. Click Save.
