Basic user and user group

There are two new user items as part of the new user management system. These new user items separate the previous authentication types of Simple and WindowsIntegrated on a single user item.

• Basic user - Uses only Simple authentication.

• User group - Uses only WindowsIntegrated authentication.

All existing users will be upgraded to User Group or Basic User, based on the value of the Identity field. If no identity exists, the user will be deleted.

If the existing user belongs to any groups that are configured for the new User Groups, then the user will be mapped with multiple groups and will get user settings of all merged values from User Groups.

Note When you perform upgrade you need access to the Active Directory.
