AVEVA™ Production Management

Display the Inbound Material Flow view

  • Last UpdatedApr 17, 2025
  • 2 minute read

The Inbound Material Flow view enables you to view the input movements into a work center or work unit.

  • Inbound Material Flow view shows movements that AVEVA Production Management automatically records, movements that authorized users add manually, and balance adjustments that authorized users add manually.

  • The results grid shows Inventory records for the selected location in the plant hierarchy. You can specify the grouping of these records.

  • Each record in Material Flow view displays which material moved and the quantity that moved.

  • The Inbound Material Flow view includes custom columns that display Contributor information.

  • The Inbound Material Flow view accepts work centers and work units for source or destination equipment locations.

  • The Inbound Material Flow view includes custom fields for both routine movements and ad-hoc movements.

Note It is no longer possible to confirm or unconfirm records in this view. This functionality is removed because it is made obsolete by the development of the Inventory reprocessing and finalization features. During reprocessing, the values of the confirmation fields (Confirmed, ConfirmedBy, ConfirmedDateTime) would be overridden and deleted by reprocessing the records.

For information on the grid's displayed fields as shown in the following screenshot, see Standard fields in the grid.
