Sample period filter

The Sample Period filter on the Filter dialog box defines the data range on the query.

It is a filter to query data for records that were active within a given time period. This includes records with four different scenarios.

  • Record A - The EndDateTime of the record occurs within the time period; however, not the StartDateTime.

  • Record B - Both the StartDateTime and EndDateTime occur within the time period.

  • Record C - The StartDateTime of the record occurs within the time period; however, not the EndDateTime.

  • Record D - Neither the StartDateTime or EndDateTime occurs within the time period, although the record was active within the time period.
