Add and configure Knowledge document

You can create a library of reference documents that are accessible through Production Analyst. A document item enables you to host an external file that you can access in AVEVA™ Production Management as a view.

These might be documents, video files, and image files for plant areas and products. For example, your library might contain information such as equipment manuals, schematics, and operating procedures.

To add a Knowledge document

  1. In Studio, right-click the Library folder under the relevant Knowledge reporting point, and then click Add Document. A new Document item appears.

  2. Rename the document with a meaningful name.

  3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Knowledge document properties.
