Examples: How AVEVA Production Management calculates contribution percentages for lot groups (with different materials)
There are various rules that apply to how AVEVA™ Production Management calculates contribution values for lot groups. In these example scenarios, we are calculating the percentage that each owner has contributed to the lot group.
In these scenarios, all contributions have different material types.
Scenario 1: Contributions have different materials and total balance is zero
In this scenario, the lots are of different materials, although they have the same owner. The negative lot balance and the positive lot balance cancel each other to result in zero balance for the lot group. No information is reported for an owner with a zero balance.
However, when reporting by material, the percentage for the owner with the negative balance is reported, but is assigned as zero percentage (0%).

Scenario 2: Contributions have different materials and total balance is negative
In this scenario, the lots are of different materials, although they have the same owner. Both lot balances are negative. This results in a negative balance for the lot group. The percentage for the owner is reported, but is assigned as zero percentage (0%).

Scenario 3: Contributions have different materials and total balance is positive
In this scenario, the lots are of different materials, although they have the same owner. One of the lot balances is negative, however the total balance of the lot group is positive. The negative balance is not used in the calculation of the other owner percentages, but is reported.
