Add a product field specification

A product field specification folder enables you to create and organize global specification items that apply specifications to products.

These are the types of specification items for products:

• Threshold range

• Specification limit

Add a product field specification

1. In Project Explorer, right-click a Product, point to Add Item, point to Specification, and then click Product Field Specification. A new product field specification appears.

   

2. Rename the product field specification with a meaningful name that describes the specification, such as weight, height, length, temperature.

3. Add specification items under the product field specification, and set the values for the specifications.

   • Threshold range

   • Specification limit
