About persisted runtime values

In Studio, when you import or restore a project, you are prompted with a dialog box that asks if you want to Preserve persisted runtime property values. This option is selected by default.
This means that the current runtime data values, before import, are retained even after you import or restore another project.
If you clear this check box, the current values for persisted runtime data are lost, because they are replaced with the persisted runtime data values that were valid at the time the backup took place.

Note: This list may not be comprehensive and can change between AVEVA™ Production Management versions.
The following is a list of properties that are persisted runtime property values.

Potential data conflicts
It is possible that some potential data conflicts could occur between the time a backup is made and the time it is restored. The existing value for a stored variable item might not match the data type for the backed-up stored variable.
