Each Site folder contains one Input and one Output work center. New and existing sites have one input work center and one output work center.

-
The default names Input and Output cannot be changed.
-
These work centers have Selective Lot Behavior only.
-
You can add only lot reporting points or lot group reporting points under an input or output work center.
-
You can add other relevant items as children of the Site folder, as before.

The following are the important properties of an input or output work center:
-
Allowed Materials – Defines the list of materials that are permitted in this work center. Configure this property before you configure the next two properties. If you configure a material movement to move material in to or out of this work center and that material is not in this list, a validation error is raised.
Notes about input and output work centers
Some notes about input and output work centers:
-
They do not have material quality reporting point associations. This is because the source quantity for input movements and the destination quantity for output movements is not captured.
-
They do not consume licenses.
-
They do not appear in existing equipment selectors, for example, when selecting a cause location.
