Knowledge provides a repository for storing and viewing relevant documentation to the production process.
Operators can view equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, procedures, instructions, and other documents that are relevant to your area. With the relevant documentation at hand, you can avoid operational issues, troubleshoot problems quickly, and resolve issues of policy with reliable information. Knowledge reduces the time that you spend looking for information.
What is a Knowledge document?
In Knowledge, the term document refers to knowledge items such as documents, video files, and image files. Knowledge can link to documents on any network that AVEVA Production Management can access, including the World Wide Web (WWW).
For more information, see Linking to external documents.
Note You cannot add new documents through Production Analyst. Documents are added in Studio and can be viewed only in AVEVA Production Management.
