Configure AVEVA Events to CONNECT agent for data curation by adding the data egress endpoint in the agent's Configurator plugin settings. The namespace ID specified in the egress endpoint determines where data is pushed into the CONNECT data services.
Prerequisites
-
Gather the following information: Egress endpoint URL, client ID, and secret. For information on where to find these details, refer to Set up your environment for CONNECT integration.
Note: You can add or edit the egress endpoint in the Data Egress tab. For detailed steps, refer to Add or edit egress endpoint after data curator configuration.
To configure the agent for data curation
-
From the Start menu, under the AVEVA folder, run the Configurator as administrator.

-
In the Configurator window, under Events to CONNECT node, select Settings.
-
On the right pane, select Data Egress and then select Add to provide the required egress endpoint details. You should see the Egress Endpoints section populated with an EgressEndpoint<ID> entry as highlighted in the following image.
Enter the required details. For more information on each field, refer to Egress endpoint parameters in the AVEVA Events to CONNECT online help.

-
After you enter the required details, select Validate. On the Configuration Messages window, you should see the confirmation message that the Egress Endpoint configuration is valid.

Note: Setting up the health settings is not required for AVEVA Production Management CONNECT integration.
-
Select Configure.
You should see the configuration status under the Configuration Messages box. If the configuration process is complete, select Close.
To complete the CONNECT integration configuration process, configure the AVEVA Events to CONNECT General and Data Ingress settings using the AVEVA Production Management data curation configuration tool. For detailed steps, refer to Configure the data curator component.
