• A new File Content property allows you to provide raw JSON directly to the Ingestion activity.

Resolved issues

• Asset Search API calls now use a CookieContainer for cookie handling instead of passing cookies in headers.

• When a Parent Workflow activity was submitted from Email, the associated Child Workflow remained in a Waiting state after completion. The Child Workflow status now updates correctly, and the Parent Workflow moves to Completed.

• The Script Editor has been extensively hardened for security. Scripting continues to provide extensibility in Work Tasks, but is now restricted to a fixed set of allowed namespaces. Any scripts outside these namespaces will be blocked. Please refer to Allowed namespaces and blocked keywords for details.

• The Script activity has been temporarily disabled in Quickflows for security hardening.

Resolved issues

• When a role was assigned to an email activity, emails were sent to all users in that role across all Work Tasks instances. This issue has been corrected.

• Added support for CONNECT account access tokens in Workflow Web APIs. Additionally, a brand name update has been applied to all CONNECT references.

• XML variables are now restricted and hidden in the Expression Editor for Quickflows.

• The following elements are now restricted and hidden in the Expression Editor for workflows: LogContext, CurrentRunTime, DataHandler, ContentHandlers, and ProcessDefinition. Additionally, the Expression Editor now enforces stricter security by blocking the use of certain runtime-related namespaces, methods, and properties.

Resolved issues

• Asset Search activity failed with the error Input string was not in a correct format when the log level was set to 2.

• Ingestion failure caused by invisible Zero-Width Space (ZWSP) character. The value is now sanitized before being sent to external APIs.

• Session invalidation issue in Work Tasks Pro. Sessions are now correctly invalidated upon logout, and any requests sent after logout are rejected.

• Accessing a work item from inbox would fail for the first time after IIS reset.

• Email activity failed to send emails on the first attempt after an IIS reset or a restart of services.

• Support for modern JavaScript in Work Tasks Pro app.

• Supports JavaScript based on the ES2021 ECMAScript standard, applicable for Forms.

• The chart control in forms has been upgraded with newer, more modern libraries.

  • The Sankey Chart nodes are now fixed in position, and hovering over a node highlights all related links for easy reference.

  • The Pie Chart legend is now displayed on the left side, unlike the previous version where it was on the right.

  • The Bar and Area Charts no longer show the stacked option.

  • The tooltip's appearance has changed, especially if the first chart control is hidden in the UI (possibly due to its placement in the first tab, which may not be in focus).

• Implemented validation mechanism to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information during the creation of Database Lookup query.

• AVEVA Work Tasks now automatically re-establishes the RabbitMQ server connection upon recovery, ensuring seamless event handling after connection loss.

• Intermittent issue where the form would show a spinning circle.

• The Export button is not visible in the Grid when only one record is present and the Dynamic Page Size property is set to Yes.

• Web API does not display decimal values when the first record does not contain a decimal value.

Work Tasks Pro

• Barcode scanning cannot be performed in landscape mode.

• Login to the provider displays a loading icon on the iPad screen.

• The AVEVA Work Tasks Pro application crashes when launching the RFID scanner on Android 13 devices.
