1. Why the user who belongs to the Reader Security group is not able to consume menu items in the Enterprise Console pull-down menu?

The user is not able to consume menu items in the Enterprise Console pull-down menu even though the Can Consume Item right is checked.

Resolution

This problem usually happens when the users create their own menu and submenu items and would like to define security for those menus and submenus. In security, by default, the newly created menus and submenus will be considered as draft mode.

To view the others items:

Ensure that the Can View Others Draft Items right is set to True for the user.

2. Upgrade Manager has detected some duplicate entries in the Navigation list. Re-create the entries with unique titles.

Resolution

While upgrading AVEVA Work Tasks, if the Upgrade Manager detects some duplicate entries in the Navigation list, this message is logged in the Logger. You can re-create the existing duplicate link entries with unique titles.
