There are three types of Security rights. These security rights have to be added for each action or functionality which requires restricted access.
-
Allow/Disallow - If the Allow option is selected, the users belonging to the particular security group will be able to perform the action. If the Disallow option is selected, the users will not be able to perform the action. See Example for Allow or Disallow for more details.
-
Requires Approval - If the Requires Approval option is selected, the users belonging to a particular security group need approval from their manager to perform that action. For sending an approval, it triggers the workflow that is specified as its rights value. The action will be performed after the request is approved. See Example for Requires Approval and Requires Approval With Prompt for more details.
-
Requires Approval With Prompt - If the Requires Approval With Prompt option is selected, the users belonging to a particular security group need an approval from their manager. For sending an approval, it will prompt before triggering the workflow that is specified. The action will be performed after the request is approved. See Example for Requires Approval and Requires Approval With Prompt for more details.
