Set Notification Type

In Work Tasks Pro Push Notification Activity, you can configure different types of notification based on the device being used. You can choose to continue with the default notification type or customize the notification type.

To use the default notification type, set the option 'Apply Default Notification Setting' as Yes. Default notification for iOS is Alert and for Windows 8.1 it is Tile.

Configuring Custom Notification Type

1. Click the edit icon in Notification Type property. The Notification Type Setting is displayed.

2. Select No for the option 'Apply Default Notification Setting'. The option of Device and Notification Type is now available for selection.

   The default selection for the option 'Apply Default Setting' is Yes.

3. Select the operating system used on your device and then select the Notification Type.

   • iOS operating system, supports only the default notification specific to iOS.

   • For Windows 8.1 operating system, the available notification types are Tile and Toast

     • When Tile is selected the notifications are displayed on tile of the application

     • When Toast is selected the notifications are displayed as pop-up notifications
