During package installation or while adding forms to a package template, if the forms contain Invoke Workflow control, you can edit the version details of the workflow that is selected in this control. You can correct the source property values and define the target property values in the Invoke Workflow details section of the Settings window.
The following table provides information about the settings available for a Form with a Invoke Workflow control:
|
Field Name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Workflow Name |
Name that identifies the workflow. |
|
Source Version |
The version of the workflow selected in the Invoke Workflow control. |
|
Target Version |
The version of the workflow, which will be used in the Invoke Workflow control in the form, during installation. Ensure that this version of the workflow is available in the target environment. |
-
If you do not edit the Target Version field and retain the default value as "Latest", then the latest version of the associated workflow is mapped to the control in the form in the target environment.
-
If the Target version field is left blank, then the source version of the associated workflow present in the target environment is mapped to the current control in the form. If the source version is not present in the target environment, then the latest version of the associated workflow is mapped to the current version in the target environment.
-
If the Target version of the workflow is not present in the target environment, then the latest version of the associated workflow is mapped to the control in the form in the target environment.
-
In Invoke Workflow details section, the Workflow Name property is not available in the configuration settings if the workflow name is configured using expression editor.
-
The Invoke Workflow details property is only to specify the target version of the associated workflow to which the current control should be mapped. The configuration of the associated workflow is done separately from the package template as it is added as an individual artifact.
