Configure Artifact Type Settings for Workflow

You can set the status in which all the workflow artifacts in a package must be installed or updated in the target environment.

Install
Use this tab to set the configurations for installing the package.

Update
Use the settings in this tab to update an installed package.
Artifact Type Settings

In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Package, and then click Package Template.
The Package Template page appears.

To edit an existing package, in the Package Template page, select the package template, and then click Edit. The Edit Package Template dialog box appears.

In the Configuration tree on the left pane, click Workflows under Artifacts. The Settings form with the Artifact Type Settings section appears.

For the Install Workflows as Draft property, select one of the following:

Yes: Select this option to install all Workflow artifacts in the package in Draft status in the target environment.

No: Select this option to install all Workflow artifacts in the package in Published status in the target environment.
The status of the Workflow in a package is set based on the value defined.

Use the Workflows Exist property to take appropriate action when the Workflow definition specified in the package is already present in the target environment. Select one of the following:

Install as next major version: Select this option to install all Workflow artifacts in the package as next major version.

Install as next minor version: Select this option to install all Workflow artifacts in the package as next minor version.

Install as next version: Select this option to install all Workflow artifacts in the package as next version.

Do not install: Select this option if you do not want to install the Workflow artifacts, as they are already present in the target environment.
Note: You can also configure these settings while installing the package using the Manage Package page.
